hey! I'm talking to this startup company doing work in web-based data backends in hyderabad, india. The company is azri.biz. For one thing they are committed to Open Source and the GPL. That is a big win in my book. I have been thinking about this for the last few days, and considering all the issues, I've finally make my decision. I think I am going to go over and work there for some time, as long as the going is good. The place looks good, and the people friendly. Still it is a leap of faith (stupidity?) to make a jump from Oracle India (yeah, that's where I work) to a startup. But I feel I've just started working, and I can afford to make mistakes and take chances right now. This is going to be harder once I get settled down. I'd be sorry to leave my present workplace though. The people are very nice, the work environment really cool and the infrastructure good. Its a great place for people interested in ERP, but just not my type. Plus my manager is the perfect antithesis of Dilbert's PHB. I'm gonna miss all that :-( Will keep ya posted! -- /SF
